Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Psi Eta Omega Chapter.

It is my honor and privilege to serve as President of this dynamic and purpose driven chapter as we elevate in excellence, and I am delighted that you have taken the time to learn more about who we are and the work we do in service to our community.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, the first Greek letter organization established by African American college-educated women, was founded on a legacy of scholarship, sisterhood, and service. Since 1908, our sorority has remained steadfast in its commitment to cultivating high scholastic and ethical standards, promoting unity among women, addressing issues impacting girls and women, maintaining a progressive interest in college life, and providing meaningful service to all mankind.

For more than 18 years, Psi Eta Omega Chapter has proudly carried this legacy forward in the Columbus metropolitan area. Our chapter is known for impactful, signature programming that reflects both the mission of our sorority and the needs of the community we serve. Through initiatives such as the Sisterhood Luncheon, Linen and Pearls, AKAelites youth enrichment program, and the Annual MLK Day of Service, we remain committed to uplifting families, empowering youth, and fostering positive, lasting change.

Scholarship is a cornerstone of our work. Psi Eta Omega Chapter is proud to support students through the Psi Eta Omega Scholarship, the Lynn C. Chavers Merit Scholarship, and the Psi Eta Omega Memorial Scholarship. By investing in education, we continue to honor our founders’ vision and prepare the next generation of leaders for success.

Psi Eta Omega Chapter is a collective of dedicated, service-minded women who believe in the power of sisterhood, collaboration, and community engagement. We are intentional in our work, united in our purpose, and steadfast in our commitment to excellence. As we move forward, we remain focused on strengthening our impact, deepening our relationships, and serving with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
